The GCL T20 USA is a professional T20 cricket tournament that has received official sanctioning from USA Cricket. This marks a significant milestone for cricket's growth in the United States. The league aims to promote the sport through a unique blend of sports and entertainment, featuring six city-based franchises competing in a T20 format.
The inaugural edition of GCL T20 USA will take place from JUNE 1ST - JUNE 10tH, 2026, KINGSMEN ARENA STADIUM, HOUSTON TEXAS,USA. The participating teams include Houston Riders, New York Liberty, Chicago Windchasers, Miami Waves, Las Vegas Aces, and Washington DC Eagles. Notable appointments include Shoaib Akhtar as League Ambassador, Munaf Patel as League Mentor and Waqar Younis as League Icon, adding credibility and global appeal to the tournament.
